Literacy is the key to success…

One of the important criteria of a successful leader is the ability to clearly express thoughts and knowledge. Research by human resource expert and management had shown that no matter what field the person is in, the person with large vocabulary and possesses the ability to communicate clearly and concisely using simple and descriptive words are best at accomplishing their goals. Well chosen and carefully considered words can hep to close sales, negotiate deals, enhance relationships and change destiny.

In this era of emails, faxes, voice mail, meeting briefs and business plans, the person who can articulate his goals, substantiate their claims and visions will win the future. In this century literacy will differentiate the have and the have not.

Thus, to success, one must continue to improve himself and never be one who are motivated to get by and get pulled along by the company, economy or government. So read as much as you can – at least 1 book each month and minimize the amount of time you spend on prime time television. You should also read or listen to all kinds of books – fiction or non-fiction. Information found in books (including e-books) and training sessions have definite values in the business world.
