How is your relationship with money? Is it always full of anger, fear, guilt, shame or sadness when it comes to money? If the answer is yes, then this is one of the reasons why you are not generating wealth.
Why? This is because fear, guilt, anger and shame are all negative feelings and emotions, and such negativities always have negative effect on your money. Your actions and decisions around money will be affected by your feelings and emotions.
Negative emotions are like lead that weighs you down and preventing you from seeing all the opportunities that come along, on the possible income that can come your way, on the possible wealth that your can generate.
Opportunities are always clear, neutral and the same for everyone until we put our emotions into it. Fear, shame, anger, guilt, these are the kind of negative emotions that will change our perception on each opportunity. That is why there are people who always see opportunities everywhere and there are those that will never see any.
Negative emotions are energy that are stuck and they are mainly caused by incomplete communication. Therefore we have to frequently review if there is any negative emotions that we may have developed along the way with regards to money and let them out – write them out, talk to someone whom you can confide to.
When you are reviewing these emotions, try to see which category they falls into – anger, fear, sadness, guilt, shame, sorry. This is because of all the emotions, the most debilitating is anger. This is because when we are angry, we are usually angry with ‘not getting what we want’ from the person. And we often retaliate by not giving the person that we are angry with what they want. This is a vicious cycle, if this keeps happening, it will only drag us down together with them.
You must also realize that anger and resentment are not good for body and health too. It will weaken your immune system, cause your cells to mutate and make you sick. Research shows that 47% of all cancer is related to unresolved anger. Thus, to reduce the chance of you becoming a victim of unresolved anger, you would have to learn to forgive. Forgiving has a relaxing effort on your body, it allows you to let go of the past, the past that may have done you unjust. It is not necessary that you need to forget what had happened but it is important that you forgive what had happened.
One other cause of anger in some people are that they always want to be right. You must realize that no one is absolutely right all the time – being right is also a perception. People who always want to be right are the people that are the most miserable. So, search your inner self, are you the one who always want to be right? If so, are you fully happy or fully rich? If not, then the chance is that you are trying too much to be right. Remember, you have a choice, to be right all the time but miserable and not necessarily rich or you can be Rich and Happy but not necessarily fully right all the time.
