Most people tie receiving to worthiness – they always feel that they are not worthy or undeserving to receive anything good – good compliment, good opportunities, etc.

On receiving, why people are bad at receiving are that we are brought to belief that giving is better than receiving. But in actual fact, when we are giving there must be someone out there that must be receiving – if everyone is a giver than who are we giving to? Therefore, we must realize that being a receiver is just as important as being a giver – how can one exists without the other?

From now on start practicing to be a good receiver. When someone give you a complement, take it by saying ‘Thank you’ without returning one. Practice receiving all the money that comes your way, it does not matter the amount that you received, celebrate every occasion.

On worthiness, all of us are here on earth for a reason and as long as we are alive we are worth something. It also doesn’t matter if you feel worthy or not, you can still get rich either way. Worthiness is a made-up story, either by you or by people around you who want to make you feel a certain way. If you say you are worthy then you are. If you say that your unworthy then you are not. Therefore, always tell yourself that you are the Best and you are worthy of the Best!

So, instead of trying to change your worthiness, change your story – make up a new story that shows your worthiness.

Action is the one that can lead us to success, having known all the facts on how and what to do alone is not enough. Nothing will happen if no action is taken to get the things that we want to do going. No action = no result = no success.

Many people are afraid to take action, although they know exactly what to do, because of fear. Are you one of them?

Why do people have fear? Fear arises as a result of the personally perception of what will happen if they fail or they are fearful of what other people will think of them if they fail. In short, fear is the anticipation of pain.

This anticipation of pain arises because of our survival instinct. Our mind had been conditioned to protect us from external thread, it acts like a sentry looking out for danger, scanning for what can go wrong or what is wrong and automatically send out warning signal whenever it senses any form of danger.

Are you one who delay taking action because of the possible failure or wrong?

If so, to put it simply, you are probably staying in your comfort zone and looking out and say – ‘What if I failed because of the action I have taken?’

If you want freedom, any kind of freedom, then you have to stop listening to the voices in your mind. Simply observe your mind and says, ‘Thank you for sharing!’ and take the necessary actin to grow and succeed.

The secret to success is to learn to act in spite of fear. Step out of your comfort zone. It may be difficult at first but as you practise more it will become easier with every attempt.

Successful people have fear too but they don’t let fear get in their way.

What is belief? Beliefs are thoughts that are held to be true.

How did we cultivate our beliefs? Beliefs are a result of the past experiences that we encountered and captured by our subconscious mind. These experiences will interact with each other in our subconscious mind and become what we know as tendencies or beliefs. These tendencies or beliefs will result in how we react to certain situation or stimuli in our environment.

Actually there is no true or false, right or wrong in beliefs because beliefs are just strong opinion held and developed by us. Beliefs are what causes us to react or see the world as we are not as it is because beliefs will affect our judgement and decision. It is like looking at the world with a pair of tinted glasses over our eyes – it is ‘colored’ according to the color of the tinted glasses.

Not all beliefs are bad, there are basically 2 kinds of beliefs – empowering and disempowering beliefs.

Empowering beliefs are those that will help us achieves our goal towards financial freedom, the accumulation of wealth and success.

Disempowering beliefs, on the other hand, are like brakes which will slow down or even halt our progress towards achieving financial freedom, wealth and success. The more disempowering beliefs that we have the more stoppage we will get.

Our subconscious mind is like a sponge and filing cabinet, it will absorb all the experiences and thoughts that we encounter and store them. The subconscious mind is not able to differentiate what is good or bad, right or wrong – it simply take them all in. Therefore it is important that we constantly review our beliefs and tendencies – get rid of those are not serving or helping towards achieving our goals. Always be in touch with positive or empowering thoughts, beliefs and people.

We always act or not act in accordance with our predominant beliefs, and those actions will create your results. Therefore, if you want success, financially, physically and spiritually, you must ensure that the predominant beliefs are those that will empower or supportive of your goal.

In short, beliefs are powerful and our beliefs are our own prophecy. We must have empowering beliefs and believe in these beliefs. Believe always comes first then come our reality.

Beliefs are like the root of a tree, if we want the tree to produce lots of good fruits then the first thing we must ensure is that the roots are healthy so that it can absorb all the goodness from the soil around to produce lots of good fruits. And our fruits here are money, opportunities, wealth and abundance.

The beliefs in the goodness and greatness in money and wealth are important in striving towards financial success – creation of wealth and abundance.

Humans are habitual being – there are 2 kinds of habits that we always have and that is Doing and Not Doing. In order to attain Financial Freedom fast we must adopt the Doing habit and start managing your money effectively (adopt the Money Management Methodology).

However, knowing the importance and managing money well is one thing, there are the kind of information that you can get from many places. The most important thing in order to attain huge amount of money and keep them is to know and understand your inner self.

How do you feel about yourself? How confident are you? How much do you trust yourself?

Do you know that most people do not reach their full potential because of how they feel or how they think they feel about themselves? Do you know that most people are not really happy because deep inside them there are always something that is bothering them?

Everything happens for a reason because we are living in a world of Duality. Every up there is a down, when there is a left there is also a right. The same thing goes with the attaining and keeping money or wealth.

The amount of money that we can make and keep is affected by how we think and feel about money. This is what we call the money and success blueprint. This blueprint is engrained in our subconscious mind – through something that happened earlier, our ancestral beliefs or events or other external factors. This blueprint will run our financial life.

How does this blueprint affect our financial life? It affects us through the process of Manifestation!

What is the process of Manifestation? Simply it is the process of our thoughts with regards to a particular subject, either conscious or subconscious, that leads to our feelings to that subject which in turn affects the kind of action that we take in response to that subject. All these put together will be the outcome of how we behave and how we end up living in response to it.

Thoughts ——-> Feeling ——–> Action = Result

In other words, blueprint is like the root of a tree; if we want the tree to produce lots of good fruits your root must be strong and healthy. If the root is weak do not expect the tree to produce good fruits, let alone in quantity.

Therefore, in order to attain wealth and money in the process of achieving Financial Freedom, we must have a healthy financial blueprint.

Get ride of all the negativity that you have regarding money, for example, money is evil, money will cause disaster to my live, I cannot make more money than my parents, I do not need much to live on, etc.

By removing all those negativities and change them to positive ones, you will see how things will change for you. Some positive thoughts would be money is good, money allows me to help needy people, the more money I make I can afford a more comfortable life for my parents, I can use the excess money to help the society, etc.

If you want Financial Freedom, make sure you have a positive Financial Blueprint. Making money is easy, if others can do it, so can you!

Firstly, on Financial Freedom, achieving Financial Freedom is not difficult as long we develop the habit of proper Money Management.  The most critical factors in the financial freedom equation are:

Financial Freedom = Working Income + Saving + Investment + Passive Income + Simplify

We don’t need to be rich to be free – we have to be free first then becoming rich will be easy.  We should Simplify our life so that our passive income can pay for our living so that we don’t have to struggle!

We have to pay attention to each of the 5 factors and make sure that they are at the same level so that less energy is needed to get to the destination we wanted – Financial Freedom!

To achieve this goal we have to have a proper Money Management Method.  The most important part of managing money is to divide our income into different accounts, each for a specific purpose:

1. Financial Freedom Account (FFA) – 10%

This is the account where we MUST put aside.  The capital here can be used for investment.  The interest generated by this account can be used but NEVER the capital in this account.    The idea of this account is to create a Golden Goose for us so that when we stop working we get to spend the INTEREST and not the Goose.

2. Long Term Savings for Spending (LTSS) – 10%

This is the account for spending.  We can use the money in this account for major expenditure like a new car, paying off a mortgage, children education, vacation, etc.

There can be more than 1 LTSS accounts if there is a need to have a clearer segregation of the specific purpose.

3. Education (EDU) – 10%

This is the account for our personal improvement.  This is necessary and important so that we can expand our Comfort Zone to increase our Financial Zone.

 If you are NOT growing, you are Dying!

It is very important that we keep growing!

PS:- For parents, the children’s education fund should be placed in the LTSS account.

4. Necessities (NEC) – 55%

This is the necessities account to pay for our basic needs like bills, mortgage, rent, food, gym membership, haircut, clothing, etc.

The percentage recommended here can be reduced if the basic needs are simplified, or if we do not need to live on 55%.  By simplifying our needs, the excess amount can be put into the other accounts so that we can grow the other account faster.  It will be excellent if we can put the excess into the FFA so that we are able to achieve our objective of financial freedom faster.

 Always think LONG term!

5. Play (PLAY) – 10%

This is the account where we can use to pamper ourselves – to buy extra piece of nice clothing, fine dining, mini getaway, etc.

It is recommended that we fully utilized the money here every month to pamper ourselves.  The longest period we can keep is every quarterly if the items that we want to buy requires longer saving period.

6. Give (GIVE) – 5%

This is the account where we can use to pay for helping others – like a donation to charity.
The money for the different accounts can be kept in separate jars or separate banking and investment accounts.  This way we will not overuse any of the amount that the different accounts is setup for.

One important to note is that the actual dollar value put into each account is not important, it is the habit of putting money into each of the different accounts that is important.  Once we have created the right habit the rest is easy.

Many people always feel that there is a shortage and there is not enough to go around. But the actual fact is there are abundance of wealth for everyone. All we need are the right attitude and mindset to get it. All these feeling of insufficiencies, jealousy and envy are the stumbling blocks to the flow of wealth.

A person who is able to fill his mind with the idea of wealth and abundance will always find him surrounded with everything that he needs and has plenty to spare. We are never intended to lead a life of indigence.

One of the ways to instill the idea of wealth to your subconscious is by affirmation. However, the words used in affirmation are important – it must not create any conflict between the conscious and subconscious. One must not have any feeling that the statement made is not true. When this happened, the opposite of what you outwardly affirm will be manifested! This is because your subconscious will pick up what you really feel to be true and manifest on it. Dominant ideas or beliefs are always accepted by the subconscious mind. Therefore our dominant idea should be wealth and not poverty.

Then how to avoid conflict, you may ask? Use a combination of words that are neutral but yet able to convey the necessary message to your subconscious. For example, ‘I am being prospered in all my interest’, this will not create conflict because it does not contradict with one subconscious impression of financial lack. As compared to ‘I am prosperous, I am wealthy’, where deep down one may feel that he is lying to himself.

Words are powerful, use the right words and they are able to rid your mind of wrong ideas and instil right ones in their place.

Also doubt or develop fear thoughts after, or during, your conscious affirmation – this will only neutralize all the goodness of your affirmations. When you see yourself doing that you must immediately stop and change those thoughts to the more constructive ones. For example, when you hear yourself saying ‘I am not going to be able to pay those bills!’, do not go any further than ‘I am…’ and start telling yourself that ‘I am being prospered in all ways.’

Do Not dig up a seed that you just planted later in the day, you must let it take root and grow!

Your true source of wealth is in your mind. Create good mental terms with everyone and things and wealth will flow to you.

After having devised a game plan, the next thing that you must do is to put them in Action! Nothing will happen if you don’t do anything about your plan, no matter how good or how effective they are. Imagine this, your dream is to climb the highest mountain in world and the sunrise, you have everything all planned out – how to get there, what to bring, estimated how long it will take you to get to the top of the mountain, you have also trained for it and planned out the route of getting to then top of the mountain. But you never do the most important thing, i.e. to buy a ticket that will bring you to the foot of the mountain and start climbing it according to your planned route, then how are you going to be up there to see the sunrise?

Thus, in order to see result, one must take Action! Massive Action will give you Massive Result!

5. Build Your Leadership

Be the expert in what ever area that you want to be involved in. Be the leader where other leaders would want to follow. In this way, you will be ensured of your long term survival in the Internet.

6. Build Your Vision

We must be clear what we want and hang around with people who can sustain your vision. Once you have developed your vision, what you say and think about yourself, first you must build the person you are and become the person you want to be before you are able to experience the result that you want.

7. Take Responsibility

We must always take responsibility of what we do, there is no point finding excuses or blaming others, even ourselves for a project or relationship or business that did not work out. We should learn from it and find out what went wrong and how we can do it better and make it work the next time around.

We must take responsibility for everything that we pursue.

In my ‘The Shadow of a Thought’ post I said that our mind is the most POWERFUL tool and in order to attain success and achieve we want we have to treat our mind properly. Yes, we have the power to create all that we want by using it properly! Then what is considered proper? In order to do that we must first understand how our Mind works.

We have only one mind but it comprises 2 distinct and characteristic functional states – the conscious state and the subconscious state; which is known to some as the conscious Mind and the subconscious Mind. These 2 are essentially different from each other, each had its won separate and distinct attributes and powers.

The conscious Mind is the state where we are aware of our surroundings, our actions, thinkings and feelings. The subconscious Mind is the state where it will accumulate all our past experiences and store them in the form of subtle impressions.

These 2 states always interact with each other. Although we may have forgotten what we have said, done or thought in the conscious state but our subconscious state do not, instead all these will be stored and will interact with each other to give birth to what we call tendencies or beliefs. And we will react to a particular situation or stimuli based on these tendencies.

The subconscious Mind does not differentiate between positive thoughts and negative thoughts. It simply takes in everything in and create the kind of tendencies or beliefs that we are so used to. Therefore, to put it simply, if we keep feeding our Mind with negative thoughts, the subconscious Mind will simply pick them up, store them and give you the negative beliefs and actions that stops you from achieving what you want.

The subconscious has the power to determine the kind of outcome we want.

One good analogy that I got from the book ‘The Power of Your Subconscious Mind‘ by Dr Joseph Murphy is this: if we were the gardener and that our subconscious mind as a bed of fertile soil that helps all kind of seeds to sprout and flourish, whether good or bad. We are planting the seed of thought into our subconscious mind all day long. Most of the time we are not aware that we are doing so because these seeds are based on our habitual thinking. If we sow thorns we will not get grapes, and if we sow thistle we will not harvest figs. Every thought there is a cause and every condition is an effect – thus, it is essential that we take charge of our thoughts.

To conclude, although consciously we may want to succeed but deep inside our subconscious may have been engrained with so much negative old beliefs of being unfit for the achievement that we so wanted that it prevented us from progressing far.

Thus, in order to propel ourself to success, we must change our thoughts. We must always think positive and by changing your thoughts toward positivity you will change your destiny.

So, from now on, don’t joke with your mind, think and surround yourself with positive element, if you want to succeed, we must put in effort to recondition our subconscious with positive thoughts.

If the effort of thinking positive and negative is the same, then why no think positive and sow the seeds of greatness, gratitude, happiness and success.

I personally feel that we should hold on to our dreams, if we keep changing it because we are not able to achieve them then we are indirectly giving ourselves excuses for things that didn’t work out.

In order to succeed and live our dreams, there are series of things that we also have to do, apart from planning and putting those plan in action, we have to work on ourselves! Only when we are able to improve our ‘inside’ can we then have a clearer picture of what we are, what our capabilities are, what we need to do.

One of the important that we have to work on are our thoughts. Why do I say that? Thoughts are energy and they create your destiny. Our thoughts will have impact on our environment and everything around us. We should control our thoughts and don’t let it control you! The energy that is generated through thoughts can be focused and only by doing so can we raise our energy level!

Our mind is the most POWERFUL tool and we have the power to create all that we want by using it properly. Your destination and what you are can be changed and managed by changing the way and what you tell yourself who you are!
